PVC shrink wrap film has excellent sparkle and clarity, and is suitable for a range of packs where presentation appeal and tamper evidence are paramount. The use of PVC shrink wrap is driven by the demands of the shrink wrapping machine, or pack. Typical PVC shrink wrapping applications include DVDs, toys, books, reams of paper, consumer goods and software boxes.

Due to its ease of use, being quick and easy to both seal and shrink, PVC shrink wrap is particularly suited to older or more basic shrink wrapping machinery, although it can be used all the way through to semi automatic shrink wrap equipment.

Again, due to its user friendly shrink properties PVC shrink wrap lends itself well to softer more flexible packs, such as soft stationery packs, picture mounts, booklets and sometimes due to its need for less heat it can work well with heat sensitive products e.g. vinyl records
